I know it is short notice but, once again, we have managed to wrangle some samples of Louis Jadot’s fantastic 2015 Burgundies for an En Primeur wine tasting. See the wines for tasting below.
Please feel free to pop in to our shop at either of the two times above on Saturday 14th January 2017 to come and try the wines.
There are 11 wines in total, see below, so it will take a good half an hour to try them all, please do not come 5 minutes before the end of the session! There is no need to book a place for this tasting but we would appreciate RSVP to let us know if you are coming to the earlier or later session so that we can get a rough idea of the numbers of people attending. Thank you.
We will be offering these wines to order en Primeur. The wines will be available to order and buy (at and for a few days after the wine tasting) ex UK duty and VAT on the day. The UK Duty and VAT is then payable when the wines are delivered in late 2017 / early 2018.
It is good news though. The 2015 is widely regarded as being a very good vintage after a run of vintages suffering from bad weather, hail damage and small volumes. The reds are complex and are being compared to the high quality red wines from the superb 2005 vintage.
