We are very pleased to announce that we will be holding the Fareham Wine Cellar Portfolio Wine Tasting this year on Wednesday 16th October 2024
There will be over 150 fantastic wines and spirits on show with exhibitors coming from far and wide. This will be a walk around wine tasting and spittoons will be provided. Whilst you are welcome to attend from 2pm until 7.30pm (some do!), we can highly recommend spending at least a good couple of hours to make the most of the experience.
Champagne Forget-Brimont – Valentin Vogel – Champagne Forget Brimont is a small, family-owned Champagne House. They will be showing the full range of their wines including Extra Brut, Rosé, Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru and more.
Domaine Jones – Katie Jones – Owner and winemaker Katie Jones, who I am sure needs no introduction, will be bringing some of her excellent new wines and vintages.
Geonaturals Ltd – Kaha Guliashvili – Kaha will be showing a range of wines from Georgia including a fantastic Amber wine, dry and and white wines, Qvevri wine and sweet red wines including a Kindzmarauli and Khvanchkar.
Halo Wines Ltd – Tim French – Halo Wines are the UK agents for Niepoort’s fantastic wines and Ports. Tim also represents some fantastic French wineries including Domaine Giraudon and Domaine Michel Sarrazin in Burgundy as well as many others.
Hatch Mansfield – James Wilson – Hatch Mansfield are the UK agents for fantastic wineries including Louis Jadot, Champagne Taittinger, Errazuriz and Kleine Zalze.
Hispano Bodegas – Pablo Rodriguez – Third generation vineyard owner Pablo Rodriguez will be presenting Hispano Bodegas’ ranges of Valdelacierva Rioja and 12 Linajes Ribeira del Duero wines.
J B Audy – Michel Moulene – Bordeaux negociant and Chateau owner, J B Audy will be showing a range of their wines including the distinguished Chateau de Courlat, an esteemed gem within Audy’s portfolio.
John E Fells & Sons Ltd – Nick Jamieson – John E Fells have a broad portfolio and will be showing wines from producers including E. Guigal, Torres Spain, Torres Chile, Wente Vineyards, Tedeschi, La Crema, Symington Family Estates (Cockburns, Dows, Grahams & Warres) and Blandy’s Madeira.
Louis Latour Agencies – Guy Nightingale – Guy will be showing a range of Louis Latour wines as well as others including Champagne Gosset and Chateau Sainte-Roseline.
Marussia Beverages UK Ltd – Helen Wainwright – Marussia Beverages are one of our key spirits suppliers, they will be showing a range of spirits from suppliers including Doorlys Rum, Torabhaig and Mossburn Scotch Whiskies, Hatozaki Japanese Whiskey and much more.
Mentzendorff & Company Ltd – Clive Ashby – Clive will be showing wines from Hambledon Vineyard, one of the best sparkling wine estates in Hampshire and other wines including Hamilton Russell and Cartuxa.
Maison Marques et Domaines Ltd – Adam Baggott – Adam will be showing wines including Meerlust from South Africa, Burgundy from Domaine Faiveley, Mahi from New Zealand amongst others.
Raimes English Sparkling – Augusta Raimes – Excellent Hampshire Sparkling wines from Hinton Ampner near Alresford. Wines will include their Classic Brut and their Blanc de Noirs.
The Grange – Claire Hunt – More superb Hampshire Sparkling wines from Itchen Stoke near Alresford. They will be showing their Classic Brut, Pink and White from Black.
Vignobles Chanfreau – Owner Loic Chanfreau will be presenting some of his family’s excellent Bordeaux wines from Chateau Lestage, Chateau Caroline and Chateau Fonreaud.
