Chateau Le Grand Sigognac is located in the city of St Ysans du Medoc, on the plateau of Blaignan, reknowned for producing some of the best wines of the appellation. The 5 hectare estate consists of vines were planted in 1988 and 1989 and are 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. 20% of the wine is aged in new oak barrels, 40% in one-year barrels and the rest in vats and approximately 20,000 bottles are produced.
