Description

Chateau Phelan Segur is a located at the south of the St Estephe appellation of Bordeaux. It can trace it origins back to the early nineteenth century when Irishman Bernard Phelan combined two estates, Le Clos de Garamey and Segur de Cabanac to create Chateau Phelan Segur, the domain remains relatively unchanged today. The Chateau has been been owned by the Delon family since 1985. The wines of Chateau Phelan Segur are classified as Cru Bourgeois are generally a blend of around 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot.
